ReceiptFolio is an organisation tool. It stores receipts and documents locally, calculates reminders from information you record and may, with your consent, request AI enhancement of text recognised on a receipt. ReceiptFolio does not provide legal, tax or financial advice. You remain responsible for checking dates, amounts and required actions with the relevant merchant, manufacturer or organisation.
Core purchase management works without an account. An optional account counts AI improvements and links a Premium entitlement. It does not synchronise your library: signing in on another device transfers no receipt there. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and to the Google or Apple account used to sign in.
With or without an account, the Free plan includes a limited number of automatic scans per 30-day period. An automatic scan is the reading of a photographed or chosen receipt that pre-fills the purchase; it is counted on the device, when the purchase is saved, and each device keeps its own count. The number in force and the renewal date are shown in the application; these terms fix no number. Once the limit is reached, automatic reading is not started until the renewal, but manual entry, viewing and correcting purchases remain unlimited. Premium makes automatic scans unlimited.
Premium is offered as a monthly or yearly auto-renewable subscription. The price and billing period are the ones the store shows before you confirm. Premium includes:
Core purchase management and manual entry remain available without a subscription. Project budgets, bulk project document sharing and exporting every purchase of a project are included in the Free plan.
How many AI enhancements each period includes, on Free as on Premium, is what the Subscription screen shows: the service states it and it may be adjusted, and these terms fix no number. An enhancement is counted only when the service produces a reading; a reading that does not come through costs nothing. AI enhancements and automatic scans are two separate counts. A reading produced is counted even if the screen was left or the photo retaken before it arrived.
The store charges, renews, refunds and cancels the subscription. You can manage or cancel it from ReceiptFolio or in the store’s subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect under the store’s terms and does not remove a period already paid for. Deleting a ReceiptFolio account neither cancels nor refunds a subscription.
On the day the Premium entitlement actually ends — at the close of the period you paid for, after a refund, or on a revocation — the account returns to the Free plan, and a fresh AI enhancement period opens at once with the free allowance: you are not held to the previous month’s tally.
The Premium features then stop: creating or restoring a backup, making a project active beyond what the Free plan allows, and scanning without limit — automatic scans return to the Free plan’s limit per 30-day period.
Nothing you have already saved is lost. Your purchases, receipts, documents, warranties, returns, issues and projects stay on your device and stay readable. The active projects you had stay active; what is refused is activating another. Backup files you already produced are yours, they sit outside the application, and ReceiptFolio can neither read nor delete them — but restoring one needs Premium.
You must not try to evade service limits, disrupt the service, access it through unauthorised software or use it to process documents you have no right to use.
Recognition and analysis may be incomplete or wrong. You must check information before saving or relying on it. Online functions may be temporarily unavailable; local functions and data already held on the device remain usable.
You may stop using ReceiptFolio at any time. Uninstalling the application removes its private storage according to the operating system’s behaviour. Deleting an account and cancelling a subscription are separate actions, described in the application and in the privacy policy.
The privacy policy explains what data is processed and where. If these terms
